Guns in church? No problem. Sex toys in the bedroom? No chance. At least that’s what Sandy Springs, Georgia is attempting to enforce upon all of its residents. The city passed an ordinance in 2009 that forbids the distribution of “any device designed or marketed as useful primarily for the stimulation of human genital organs,” prohibiting both the sale and purchase of sex toys. Oh—and that doesn’t just mean in stores. The ban includes purchasing sex toys online, which is also punishable by law.
