April brings over a decade of experience in the industry, a global education ethic, and a proven track record of driving growth and market education across retail, manufacturing, and consumer-facing channels.
A SHA-certified sex educator with a global perspective, April has been shaping the discourse around sexual health and wellness since 2008. Her work spans both the retail and manufacturing sides of the pleasure products ecosystem, and she is widely recognized for her ability to translate complex topics into accessible, empowering conversations. She is the co-host of Shameless Sex, one of the world’s most listened-to podcasts, and co-author of the book Shameless Sex. In addition, April serves on the SWPA board as head of the Mentorship Program and was honored as Woman of the Year (2016) and Sexpert of the Year (2024). Industry peers regard her as a pioneer who uses a fun-loving attitude, worldly experience, and quick wit to normalize conversations about sex and to inspire more pleasure for everyone.
In her role as Vice President of Business Development, April will lead Pipedream’s strategic
partnerships, global go-to-market initiatives, and education-driven growth programs.
