Eldorado Trading Company, the award-winning distributor of adult toys, lingerie, and party supplies, has coordinated their 13th annual Thanksgiving fundraising campaign to collect food and money donations for the Community Food Share, a local Colorado nonprofit which provides food to hundreds of local families and senior citizens in need. Eldorado employees contributed $1,680, which was matched by Eldorado CEO, Wanda Garland, for a total donation of $3360.

Every dollar donated to the Community Food Share provides three meals. Eldorado’s donation will help provide more than 10,000 meals to families, students, and seniors in Boulder and Broomfield Counties. According to the USDA, “more than 38 million people, including 12 million children, in the United States are food insecure.” Regrettably, the pandemic has “increased food insecurity among families with children and communities of color, who were already faced hunger at much higher rates before the pandemic.”

The annual Food Share drive is a cherished Eldorado initiative. Wanda Garland shares, “Thanksgiving is a wonderful opportunity for to give back and the Food Share drive is one of my favorite Eldorado traditions. I am so very proud of our employee’s generosity and the considerable impact our donation will have on the local community.”
