Ohnut, in collaboration with Duvet Days, is proud to present the Pain Perception Project, a patient-founded initiative created to help give patients (and doctors) the tools to communicate effectively during appointments.

The Pain Perception Project is a resource created for patients, by patients to help give folks the tools they need to feel prepared at the doctor’s office. Pain is difficult to describe, and difficult to diagnose, especially when it comes to reproductive body parts. As a result, there is often misdiagnoses, miscommunication, and most commonly – inaction.

The Pelvic Pain Assessment The Pelvic Pain Project starts with the Pelvic Pain Assessment, a friendly journey through pain symptoms inclusive of sexual health and life quality. Once completed, the result is a printable PDF that facilitates patient-doctor communication and referrals.

Begin by taking the HIPAA and GDPR-compliant Pelvic Pain Assessment, and get a printable PDF of your results that you can bring with you to your next appointment. Plus access dozens of resources for both patients and practitioners on the Pain Perception Project (PPP) website.
