Vibratex, the sole North American importer of the Magic Wand brand, is pleased to announce that its “Pleasure as Art” commissioned piece is currently on display at the Erotic Heritage Museum in Las Vegas.

The brand’s art piece has drawn wide praise from industry insiders following its appearance at both Altitude and ANME trade shows this year. As a constant inspiration for smiles and selfies at the Magic Wand booth, the sculpture makes use of 100 decommissioned wands and features a highly-detailed, original painting.

Vibratex commissioned Miami-based artist Dafne Blade to create the massive sculpture. The result – which Mashable referred to as “not only stunning, but evocative of ‘Game of Thrones’” – now appears as part of the Erotic Heritage Museum’s “Sex in Space” exhibit. The museum, located at 3275 South Sammy Davis Jr. Drive in Las Vegas, will house the sculpture now through October 2022.

Additionally, the Erotic Heritage Museum will be hosting a reception to celebrate the piece on September 3, 2022 at 6 pm. Artist Blade will be presenting their story, including the inspiration for and development of the piece. This additional layer of excitement to what promises to be a significant, cerebral, and sexy event. Event details are forthcoming.

“We couldn’t be more proud to bring this amazing work of art to the Erotic Heritage Museum,” explains Ken Herskovitz, Vibratex CEO. “It’s been an absolute pleasure to watch people interact with the piece, and we’re certain museum guests and event attendees will fall in love with Dafne’s creation.”

The Harry Moheny Erotic Heritage Museum opened in 2014 as a partnership between Reverand Ted McIllvenna and pornographer Harry Mohney. Today, the museum stands as an “assemblage of some of the most important sexual artifacts, scientific explorations, and interactive exhibitions in the world” and is dedicated to preserving freedom of sexual expression and education through the preservation of global erotic heritage.

The Erotic Heritage Museum is a perfect location to host Magic Wand’s “Pleasure as Art” commissioned piece, and Vibratex is thrilled to be collaborating with the organization.
