2023 AVN Best Enhancement Manufacturer Wicked Sensual Care is shining its Retail Employee Spotlight on Ariel Searcy of Adultmart located at 2735 Stroschein Road in Monroeville, Pennsylvania.
“In 2017, I was working at a mall chain store when an employee from an Adultmart location stopped in to shop,” Searcy reveals in her interview with Wicked Sensual Care. “We got to talking about work and how we liked our jobs, when she mentioned her work was looking to hire positive and outgoing associates! The day I stopped at her Adultmart location and filled out the paperwork, I met the general manager, talked about my retail and management experience, and how I loved working with people. The GM looked at me and said ‘I’ve already decided I want you on my team. Your personality is out of this world!’”
Initially hired as a sales associate, Searcy was quickly offered a position as a General Manager of the Monroeville location.
“I hit the ground running and it’s been a whirlwind of wonderful developments and growth ever since,” Searcy enthuses. “This store is my everything—I couldn’t imagine being anywhere else!”
Extroverted and approachable, Searcy enjoys making others feel comfortable and seen.
“My specialty is people. Whether it’s hiring, staffing, training, diffusing tensions, working with difficult customers, or giving a guest a stellar customer experience—I’ve always been a people person! When a customer visits I always break the ice with a compliment—compliments are the best free giveaway and it makes people comfortable in an otherwise intimate environment.”
While her customers may be her favorite part of her job, Searcy is just as grateful for her extended Adultmart family.
“I love my phenomenal staff, fellow managers, and my bosses, Mike and Rondee. When I need to brainstorm solutions, have a suggestion, or need feedback on product ideas, Mike and Rondee give me all the tools I need to succeed and continue going beyond.”
