Is it really any surprise the man who came out with a book titled “Private Parts” and is known for his proficiency as an interviewer on his hit radio show talked to some of the leading voices in adult retail?

Howard Stern recently welcomed Susan Colvin, founder of CalExotics, Doc Johnson CCO and CEO Chad Braverman, and sexologist Dr. Sunny Rodgers for the show’s first Sex Toy Tycoon contest, akin to an adult-themed Shark Tank. The trio of judges were joined by Ronnie ‘the Limo Driver’ Mund of Howard Stern Show fame and his fiancée Stephanie.

“Today’s mission is to find the Elon Musk of muff … the Bezos of boners,” Howard joked, according to the show’s website.

Colvin said among the questions the judges tried to find answers to were: ease of use, uniqueness, popularity potential and price point.

“I was honored to be chosen to be a judge for the first-ever Sex Toy Tycoon contest. It was great to see new, exciting product ideas and share the CalExotics brand with Howard Stern fans.” — Susan Colvin

The three contestants — Brian Herron, Brian Sloan and Jerry Davies — all had vastly different products appealing to various users and offering different highlights.
Herron pitched rentable sex dolls, which he said are stringently sanitized between customer use; Sloan pitched Autoblow A.I., “the first sexual device on earth that uses artificial intelligence and a patented penis gripper to give you a blowjob using real life techniques,” he said per HowardStern.com; and Davies rounded out the group with his Balldo, a ball dildo.

Sloan edged out Herron and Davies with 11 points (out of a possible maximum of three points per criterion) to their nine points. He’s already earmarked the $5,000 grand prize,

“We’re already developing our next generation and the next-next Autoblow A.I. that will have internet features so there’s plenty of costs there,” he told Howard, per HowardStern.com. “I’ll probably write a check for that today to one of the engineers working on it.”
