Ladies tout sex toys as the number one method guarantee to give an orgasm. But what do men think about the adult aids — especially shy guys, the ones who get the majority of their sexual experiences online?
According to askmen.com, the camming and streaming platform LiveJasmin recently surveyed 2,300 of their members in a survey which largely pertained to the popularity of public sex, but also provided opinions on masturbation using male sex toys.
So, are male toys masculine enough for men to enjoy? Do they stimulate men better than their tried-and-true toyless methods, developed from puberty?
Askmen.com reports that “Responses in favor of the use of sex toys varied a little bit from country to country, with the U.S. topping the charts at 57% pro, compared to France’s meager 47% acceptance.”
The data also shows a variance in toy use between ages, with men aged 34 and under being more in favor of sex toy use than those 35 and over. This might suggest an increasing acceptance in the use of sexual aids over generations, or it might be attributed to the younger generation’s increased comfort and familiarity with digital devices.
While it’s good that American men are more in favor of toys designed to bring them pleasure than not, the approval hovering at around 50% is a little surprising. By comparison, recent data from Bedbible shows that nearly 70% of women own vibrators (with 95% sharing that it helped them orgasm every time they used it).
Hopefully men are more willing to give sexual aids a try, given this data. Even if you have a preferred masturbation method, trying something new will always provide an exciting experience.
