Doc Johnson is back at it again, this time with Ritual, a family of six luxurious, silicone vibes.

Customers will soon have Doc Johnson to thank for spicing up their adult playtime rituals. That’s because the company — one of the iconic pleasure products brands in the industry — rolled out Ritual, a line of six silicone vibes meant to evoke luxury as much as pleasure. Ritual is available to the masses now.

“There are so many pieces that went into the creation of Ritual,” says Chad Braverman, Doc Johnson’s COO. “We wanted to do something beautiful and sensual rather than simply functional. With Ritual, we’re trying to emphasize that sexuality, orgasms, and pleasure should be part of your standard self-care practices, as normal and natural as your skincare or other routines. We also wanted to emphasize the health and general well-being benefits that come from consistently exploring one’s sexuality.”

According to Braverman, Ritual has been in the works a few years and was originally intended to be announced, with three vibrators in the lineup, at ANME in January 2022.

“Because that show ended up being another virtual one, we decided to hold out and really give the line the pomp and circumstance it deserves,” says Braverman.

With the announcement pushed to July 2022, that gave Doc Johnson time to build up the line to the present six vibes to go with a display at the first in- person ANME amid COVID.

“It made it special,” adds Braverman.

The six current vibes in the Ritual family are: Aura, Chi, Dream, Euphoria, Sol and Zen.

Each of the vibes has a motor that cycles through 10 vibration settings: three intensities and seven patterns.

“Their silicone outer layer is unbelievably soft and luxuriously smooth; it feels incredible to touch,” says Cheryl Hanslip, director of product development for Doc Johnson. “Besides a true dedication to quality, these are beautiful, simple vibrators. They aren’t intimidating to beginners, and they are pretty and feel sexy enough in your hand to be a true luxury product at a reasonable price.”

“We’re excited for all six (vibrators), because they each bring a unique function that we know will appeal to different customers. For example, Chi is an egg-shaped option that allows for direct, intense vibrations on the clitoris and feels like it was made to live in the palm of your hand,” says Hanslip. “I’m also personally excited for Sol, the pale yellow option, which is a pulsator. It feels unique to the other options, and can give the clit (or any other erogenous area) a strong pulsing experience.”

For those who have come to expect nothing but the best from Doc Johnson, they need have no fear regarding this new vibe collection.

“Ritual stays true to our commitment to creating high quality products that people can afford,” says Braverman. “Despite everything from the product to the packaging to the in-store tester displays reading as luxurious, the prices are extremely competitive. None of these MSRPs hit $80, so we’re not excluding any customers who may want to incorporate them into their self-care rituals.”

Doc Johnson says the whole line together makes for an impressive visual impact and recommends retailers offer all six options so shoppers can, literally, get a feel for them — including through the use of testers.

“To assist this,” says Hanslip, “we offer planograms and tester displays to help make Ritual stand out on the walls!”
