Wicked Sensual Care, the creator of award-winning personal lubricants, enhancers and massage creams, is shining its Retail Employee Spotlight on Debra Peterson, the Director of Procurement and Marketing for Fairvilla.com in Maitland, Florida.
A veteran marketing professional, Peterson was personally recruited for her current role by Fairvilla’s owners.
“I was doing public affairs and marketing work, specializing in complicated lobbying and public relations,” explains Peterson. “Fairvilla owners Bill and Shari Murphy, who were already friends of mine, reached out to me as they were embarking on an expanded marketing effort to reinforce Fairvilla’s image as a shopping experience that was open to everyone. I loved their goals and the messages they wanted to share, so I decided to join the team. And I’m still here!”
Focused and outgoing, Peterson knows her background and experience are of value to Fairvilla’s mission.
“My specialty is perspective,” she says. “Having worked in and around this industry since the nineties, I’ve seen such change and positive growth. I know where we’ve come from and I see where we’re going. I love being able to share that in conversations with fellow team members and the community.”

“The best part of my job is the variety it brings to my life,” she shares. “I work with a diverse and amazing group of people that support me every single day. Additionally, it’s allowed me to take part in and promote remarkable events. From Fantasy Fest and Bed Races in Key West, to Headress Balls and our infamous Ladies Nights in Central Florida, they’ve all been so much fun for me personally and have kept Fairvilla stores very much in the forefront of their respective communities.”
