Today, WOW Tech announces the Pride Fund, an initiative that strives to make a positive impact in LGBTQ+ communities in Canada and the United States through local pleasure product retailers.

The WOW Tech Pride Fund is available to eligible applicants who are seeking financial support to activate a proposed pride campaign or project in their communities. Proposals should aim to increase LGBTQ+ visibility and inclusivity, through fundraising, awareness and creative projects, such as taking part in a local pride parade, hosting a fundraising event, or activating a creative idea that celebrates the LGBTQ+ community.

Sex toy retailers based in Canada and United States are invited to submit their project details and request funding between $1,000 to $5,000 (USD). The Pride Fund is available to retailers who sell WOW Tech brands, including Womanizer, We-Vibe, pjur, ROMP, and Arcwave.

Applications will be evaluated by a committee comprised of sexual wellness and pleasure product professionals, including S
arah Tomchesson (Pleasure Brand Consultant, Damiana Productions); John Marinello (Senior Territory Manager and pjur Team Lead, WOW Tech Group); Adam Maurer (LMFT, LPC, Moontower Counseling); and, Shanae “HonestyNae” Adams (Sexuality Professional, HonestyNae).

“Our vision for WOW Tech Pride Fund is to meaningfully support local LGBTQ+ communities across Canada and the United States with our retail partners,” says Stephanie Keating, Marketing Director, Americas. “We’re excited to learn more about how retailers plan to celebrate pride and looking forward to assisting with their projects.”

WOW Tech Pride Fund is open to receive submissions immediately, until the deadline of April 22, 2022 at 11:59 EST. Funding will be distributed to recipients in May. Retailers can learn more about the contest and apply to receive funding online at https://wowtech.com/pride-fund/.
