Eldorado’s Marketing Manager, Nathan Morimitsu, offers his insights and services to any pleasure professional attending this year’s novelty expo.
(NOTE: This story was written by Nathan Morimitsu and appears in the June 2025 issue of SE Magazine.)
ANME! Wow — it’s next month. I can’t believe how fast it’s approaching. It feels like we were just at Altitude yesterday, and now, somehow, we’re already preparing for ANME. It’s almost as if a great, world-changing event disrupted trade and commerce like a global pandemic or a trade dispute. Crazy how that happened, right? Much like the rest of you, I’m still swirling around in the aftermath of… whatever that was. Anyway, where was I?
Oh yeah, ANME! It’s summer camp for the pleasure products industry. We all pack up and head to Burbank for a few days, where none of us will sleep enough, some of us will sneak away for unsupervised dinners and others might even go to The Abbey (if that’s you — and you want to take me, let me know!) Many more of us will be hitting the E.D.B. bar in the hotel, which has somehow, magically, become the coolest bar in L.A. We’ll share laughs, stories, probably some collective tariff cursing, hugs, tears and more. I can’t wait. LFG!
Except at ANME and Altitude, I only see most of you over Zoom. I hate Zoom. With only one ANME show a year now, our time is shortened, so we must make the most of it, which I fully intend to do this year. If you’re a manufacturer, I want to talk about how we market your products — and how we can do it better. Email me. If you’re one of our customers and want to review your marketing, email me. If you’re not an Eldorado customer but want to see if we’re the right fit for you, email me.
As a marketer, I’m a huge proponent of knowing our customers. Events like ANME and Altitude are some of the few times I get to spend real face time in meatspace with you. I’m not here just to sell better. I’m here to help you sell better. As your distributor, I know that if we support you in your marketing efforts, you’ll sell more products, which means we’ll buy more products from manufacturers.

If you’re coming to ANME, drop me a line anyway. We’ll book a time to connect so I can learn more about your business and how Eldorado can support it.
Later this year, Eldorado will be heading to Salt Lake City and Little Rock. We’d love to have you and your team join us to meet with manufacturers, boost product knowledge and expand your marketing education. If you’re interested, just reach out, I’ll make sure you get an invite.
– Until Burbank, your friend in marketing, Nathan.
