In theirĀ continuing efforts to support all women,Ā everywhere, Exsens USA hasĀ extended for another year theirĀ partnership with international non-profitĀ Population Services International (PSI).Ā Since January 2018, French intimateĀ cosmetics brand Exsens hasĀ contributed a portion of every sale toĀ PSI.

ā€œWe strongly believe in putting ourĀ money where our mouth is,ā€ explained Exsens North American brand manager, Rebecca Pinette-Dorin. ā€œYes, we make safe, quality productsĀ for women. And yes, we try and support women every day in our branding, through our webĀ content, and in the workplace, but frankly, it is not enough to pay lip-service to the cause.Ā Women the world over need support that they are not getting. Here at EXSENS, we areĀ proud that our financial commitment to PSI will be a part of the effort to change that.ā€

More than 200 million women in developing nations do not have access to the contraception they deserve. Without the power toĀ plan when and how many children to have, women acrossĀ the world struggle to feed their families,Ā drop out of school, and face a more significant risk ofĀ complications during pregnancy. Population Services InternationalĀ makes it easier for womenĀ in the developing world to lead healthier lives and plan the families they desire.

For almost 50 years, PSI hasĀ tackled health challenges globally, focusingĀ onĀ five health areas:Ā Ā family planning, sanitation, malaria, HIV/TB, and non-communicable diseases.Ā Just last year PSI saved the lives ofĀ 11,600 mothers, preventedĀ 4.87 million unintended pregnancies, 253,000Ā new HIV infections,Ā andĀ 135,000Ā deaths due to malaria, diarrhea, andĀ pneumonia. Ninety-threeĀ cents of every dollar PSI spends goes directly to program expenses. EXSENS is proud toĀ once again to donate a percentage of all North American sales to PSI in 2019.
